Obama's Healthcare & the biggest Socialist Grab for Power in America Ever.

Following up on Samatha's GREAT idea, here's what I wrote to my papers via the democratic website www.democrats.org.

"November 7th, 2009 is a date that will live in infamy. On that date the United State House of Reresentatives indeed made history: It passed the biggest socialist grab for power this country has yet seen.

H.R. 3962 the "Affordable Health Care for America Act" forces people to pay thousands in fines and taxes for failure to comply with government mandated insurance. Sec. 412 (p. 272) of the bill says that employers must provide a "qualified plan" for their employees and pay 72.5% of the cost, and a smaller share of family coverage, or incur an 8% payroll TAX!! The Congressional Budget Office estimates that an individual earning $44,000 before taxes who purchases his own insurance will have to pay a $5,300 premium and an estimated $2,000 in out-of-pocket expenses, for a total of $7,300 a year, which is 17% of his pre-tax income. A family earning $102,100 a year before taxes will have to pay a $15,000 premium plus an estimated $5,300 out-of-pocket, for a $20,300 total, or 20% of its pre-tax income. People who do not comply will FACE PRISON -- all for choosing a health care plan that does not comply with what the feds think is proper!!

This is government control over people's choices. It is governmental take over of people's businesses and the freedom to choose how to spend their own money. It is marxism plain and simple , taking our money and dictating to us how we are to run our lives. It is an assault on individualism and capitalism -- the two driving forces behind this great nation.

America, it is time to STAND UP and defy this governmental threat to your liberty. If this bill becomes law, our country will be chained financially and crippled for decades. Call your Senators and tell them in no uncertain terms that this Bill is wrong for America. Do it today while you still have the freedom to act.

Once again, we've had it proven to us that our Congress is a bunch of idiots and that the Democratic majority in the House are a bunch of "sheeple". Seems that before Obama showed up on Capitol Hill yesterday, the Democrats didn't have enough votes to "ram through" PelosiCare & YET......atn 11pm last night 220 Democrats & 1 RINO voted to approve it. Can you say....Somebody caved when Obama showed up?? Honestly....what does this jackass of a President have that causes people to kowtow to him and give him what he wants? This bill is an atrocity and American's know it, yet we sit here dumfounded when our "so called" representatives defy our wishes and push forward this Socialist agenda. Is anybody but me going to stand up and say enough is enough? Here it is, too, the 20th anniversary of the Berlin Wall being torn down and I'm thinking that Washington should just build a wall around itself and declare itself it's own country since they have no interest in the best interests of American & American citizens. Might they not be alot safer with that wall around them, too? Certainly wouldn't have to worry about the citizens of America storming the Capitol.....Certainly wouldn't have to worry about re-election, either. Yep.....they, like Obama & Pelosi, could be legends in their own minds for all eternity.......while burning in Hell, I might add.

I don't care if you're Democrat, Republican, Independent or Other.......If you're not watching this moment in history and dreading the very idea that our House of Representatives can pass a legislation 2000 pages long ....filled with "pork" and other hidden laws and beuraucracies that make government bigger....You are either apathetic to what's going on, convinced that Pelosi & Obama are right in doing what they're doing to bankrupt America or just plain stupid. In fact, I'm sitting here listening to our President say that AARP, The American Nurses association and others are backing it and that it's going to reduce costs for and I'm getting more and more infuriated by his lies with every word that comes out of his mouth. This bill in fact is going to drive our country and federal deficit further into the red and place another straw on the backs of taxpayers that could very well break our backs. Are you willing to see your current insurance disappear to be replaced by a Socialist program? Are you ready to be taxed an additional 18% for that coverage and see it used to finance abortion and coverage for illegal aliens? Are you ready to go to prison for 5 years if you refuse to sign onto this program and pay your "fair share". Or are you going to STAND UP & FIGHT against this idiocy and further evolution of a country that appears like anything like the America I was born & raised in. Nancy Pelosi....Barack Obama...all of you that vote in favor of this need to be arrested and charged with high treason!
